Takex releases new series of quad beams and tower enclosures

Basingstoke, Hampshire (UK)

Takex has launched its new KH series intelligent quad beam detectors and TA series tower enclosures for high security perimeter protection.
By synchronising 16 beam paths between transmitter and receiver, the PB-HF-KH series offer unrivalled performance in perimeter security. Featuring a unique double modulated beam signal, resonance filtration system and phase-locked loop (PLL) circuit, the PB-KH series deliver highest RFI and EMI resistance together with an unsurpassed immunity to direct and reflected light sources up to 50,000 lux. Combined with a programmed AGC circuit and double-coated electronics, the KH series ensure reliability for peace-of-mind protection in almost any environment covering distances up to 200m.

The PB-100AT-KH is designed with high security applications in mind, where attempts to crawl through a portion of the beam result in an alarm output trigger. Through CPU processing, the upper receiver selects the beam from the upper transmitter and the lower receiver from the lower transmitter, creating an and/or-gated detection system for anti-crawl type intrusion up to 100m.

TA series tower enclosures are available in heights of 1, 1.5, 2 and 3 metres and a choice of single or double-sided, wall or floor mount options. The towers use a lightweight black-anodised aluminium construction, with vertical slide-channels for fast and simple installation of the KH beams. Vandal resistant polycarbonate covers disguise the mounting height and position of the beams from intruders and provide an attractive but rugged appearance designed to blend seamlessly within its surroundings. Supplied with tamper-protected lids, a comprehensive range of accessories including tower heaters, thermostats, and an optional pressure sensitive anti-climb switch are also available.
