Syac Digieye certificated

Trieste, Italy

The Syac Digieye has recently been officially certificated to comply with the latest requirements of the privacy laws.
According to the company, following up on the successful completion of verification and audit activities, the video security system Digieye can now be confidently considered as Privacy compliant.

The certificate of conformity within the requirements of the Privacy legislation in force ensures compliance with the norms and specific measures in the field of video surveillance.

"We have taken this opportunity to enhance this certification in that it has been based on the European Directive 95/46/CE regarding data processing (Data Protection) and the Italian Decree 196/2003." said Catherine Gason, Marketing and Communications, Syac-TB.

The OpenSSL/Heartbleed vulnerability issue has also encouraged the company to be more than ever proactive to secure its infrastructure.  Although the Digieye software has not known to have been subject to the OpenSSL/Heartbleed vulnerability issue, they have taken steps to secure Digieye’s network infrastructure by patching and updating their software products.

As a precaution, the company is advising that all of their customers should upgrade their Digieye software to the recently released version 4.07.
