Surveon to demo new 3MP HDR solutions at Intersec

Taipei, Taiwan

Surveon will showcase its new 3 megapixel 30 FPS solutions at Intersec 2014 from January 19th to 21st in Dubai, UAE.
Compared to many standard HD solutions (1920x1080 at 30 FPS), Surveon have designed their new solutions to bring 1.5-times more detail while maintaining 30 FPS, empowering partners with real-time performance for 3 megapixel (2048x1536) resolution. Surveon’s full line of megapixel cameras, enterprise hardware RAID NVR, iSCSI/SAS storage sub-systems and intelligent video management software will be highlighted on the show floor, offering system installers proven end-to-end solutions for professional surveillance.

The new series consists of, what Surveon are calling, world pioneering 3-megapixel real-time HDR cameras. This series of cameras not only achieves real-time performance but maintains true HDR with over 100dB, giving installers higher quality than what most standard full HD cameras are able to offer. The HDR cameras (3 MP@30 FPS or 2 MP@50 FPS) offer quality images even in low lux or complex lighting conditions. Along with other advanced functions including H.264 high profile, ROI video cropping, enhanced 2D/3D noise reduction, and edge enhancement, Surveon’s megapixel cameras are engineered to provide the lowest bit rate with high image quality for professional applications including banking, transportation, manufacturing, public utilities and city surveillance.

Built-in with an enterprise-grade storage subsystem, Surveon’s NVR systems provide high I/O, large capacities, and overall system stability necessary for scalable projects. The advanced features such as enterprise RAID protection, local/remote replications, high-level performance, hot-swappable, redundant components, thermal-proven cables, and up to 120 HDD have enabled Surveon’s NVR to handle the main challenges of megapixel video recording.

The Surveon Control Center is an advanced video management suite based on Surveon VMS in an enterprise client-server architecture, providing professional features for megapixel integration. Its advanced functions include matrix wall, central alarm management, I/O control, advanced event report system, smart search, advanced video analytics (such as virtual fence, object counting, going-out detection, and tailgating detection), video bookmark, eMap, PIP, 360° fisheye de-warp and more.

The unified client function provides users the full control over live view, playback and advanced setup from any locations. Viewing is also supported using the web and mobile devices (Iphone, Android and tablets). Combined with Surveon’s centralised iSCSI storage, the SCC allows integrators to manage megapixel projects with easy operation and maintenance. Whether it is a project with 500+ channels, 100+ HD matrix wall, or unlimited recording days, all requirements can be managed by Surveon’s enterprise megapixel solutions.
