Without using complex remote storage such as NAS and ISCSI whose performance relies heavily on the network status, the NVR5000 is equipped with the SAS expansion port and is expandable up to 128 HDDs for large-scale projects.

Designed for enterprise applications such as public utility, government, hotel, factory, and large campuses, the NVR5000 is based on the Intel Haswell server platform optimised for power saving and high performance and supporting 16-bay HDDs for data storage and RAID 5, 6 for data protection. For price-sensitive markets such as SMBs, retail and restaurants, Surveon offers the all-in-one, plug & play, Linux RAID NVR3000 series as a professional and economical option.
