Standalone wireless IP surveillance powered by alternative energy

Aplustek have been focusing their innovative video technology on emerging market demands in surveillance, and have developed a wireless IP surveillance system that is powered by green energy as a perfect synergy for security applications.
Solar and wind power are generated by nature and have potentially now become the environmentally friendly and renewable energy sources for new developments in global protection. Aplustek have uniquely developed their wireless surveillance system which consists of an outdoor camera system with waterproof housing and bracket, wind turbine or solar cell panel, long range wireless CPE device or 3G/GPRS mobile wireless unit, metal high pole/mounts and power cabinet.

Users or system integrator (SI) can choose the required spec of camera(s) for the site ambient(s). Based on the environmental condition of a project job site, they can select Wind power or Solar power (each upto 600W) to use and generate the power for the camera and transmisstion devices. As the broadband or network resources are vary from place to place, Aplustek offers Wireless CPE/Router device and 3G/GPRS Mobile Wireless box for user's option in applications.

In the range of system supply, it is offered with four LFP battery units (each 100Ah) for energy storage for system operation. The LFP battery unit is designed to protected and housed in the metal battery cabinet (in 35 x 35 x 200 cm; L x W x H) to be installed on the customised metal pole.

This system is designed for applications such as border patrol, off-shore or road surveillance and where there are large expanses of land or areas to cover, wildlife research areas, city surveillance for fixed and/or temporary installations, and for homeland security purposes.
