The Vacron VG01WS is specially designed for vehicles and employs a CCD image sensor to reproduce 720p quality images for both recording and playback. It is edge recording supported, includes a memory card slot and it will record video up to (max) 64GB on a Micro SD card.  

When the memory card is inserted, the Smart Driving Recorder will automatically start recording when the power is turned on. If the memory is full, then the VG01WS will begin recording in a loop. It also allows for manual recording to save important data when needed.

The VG01WS has a G-Sensor built in and an Emergency Alarm feature is supported to save events without omissions. It offers a Google maps driving route tracking function to keep every journey o track. With updated software and OS, the VG01WS provides sync recording via telecommunication to the cloud, allows live viewing, remote playback via Wifi or Bluetooth to smart phones, pads, and computers over the internet .  In addition, the recorder has additional functions to support fleet management and driver behaviour analysis.

The VG01WS has a microphone built-in to record ambient sound with the footage. It employs GPS to perform satellite positioning and journey route track recording.  In addition, the GPS helps the recorder to automatically calibrate time; when there is no GPS signal, the system will use the built in calendar clock to run the clock to the accurate time.
