Siqura opens new training centre for Middle East

Dubai, U.A.E

The new centre provides cost-free training in support of Siqura Middle East and West Asia’s philosophy.

February 2019 witnessed a new milestone for Siqura with the official inauguration of the company's Training and Experience Centre located in Dubai’s Silicon Oasis.

Siqura’s regional headquarters for the Middle East & West Asia has been based in Dubai for quite some time now. The company recently moved to a larger office in order to create a training centre for partners and end-users.

The new centre provides cost-free training in support of Siqura Middle East and West Asia’s philosophy: the desire to transfer as much knowledge and knowhow so that partners and users can work independently.

It is used to show and demonstrate the complete range of products and solutions TKH Security has to offer. These consist of Siqura’s video surveillance solutions, VDG Sense’s video management system and Keyprocessor’s access control system.

The centre’s location in Dubai results in easy access to its facilities from throughout the Middle East and West Asia. From 10-14 February the first training sessions, entitled ‘Solutions and Technical Training for Partners’ took place, with the next one planned for the second quarter of this year. These educational sessions are designed to meet demand and cover such topics as requirements within the region for camera use, storage etc and technical support issues. This includes coursework with tasks done on the trainee’s own laptop.

Participants came from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, drawn from invited companies which have already bought TKH Security systems or are seriously offering them in their bids. According to Tariq Anwer, sales director of the Dubai office “It is an ideal way for our partners to train new employees and increase the knowledge of existing employees.”

At present, there is a three-day training programme on how to design a system using TKH Security solutions and a two-day training session on Siqura and VDG products for technicians installing, configuring, commissioning and troubleshooting. Tariq plans to create another technical training schedule specifically covering Keyprocessor. Approximately four training sessions a year are envisaged. Technical training is imparted by Technical Manager Sarfaraz Hayat. And the solution training is given by a team which includes Sarfaraz Hayat, Sales Manager Abdul Sami, and Tariq Anwer himself. “We really look forward to providing our training programmes to all partners across the Middle East and West Asia in the coming years”, Tariq concludes.
