Siqura focuses on proven intelligent solutions for specific situations at APS

Gouda, The Netherlands

"At Salon APS 2011, we will show visitors how our durable IP video systems provide proven solutions for specific situations, " - Fabien Haubert, Siqura's Senior Sales Director for EMEA.
The Salon APS 2011 trade show in Paris, France will take place from September 20th to the 22nd, where Siqura solutions will be shown on the stand of Cerona, an experienced provider of spectrally efficient satellite network solutions and official partner to Siqura.

“Our vast technology offering enables us to provide complete and customized video solutions,” explains Haubert. “We work closely with customers to design and deploy the optimal system for their unique current and future needs. This is something that really sets us apart."

To show how straightforward a complete Siqura solution can be, Siqura will demonstrate a total security system at the show. Siqura cameras and codecs will be configured to Siqura Diva, an IP-based video management solution that adds intelligence and comfort to video surveillance and monitoring.

Next to the full-featured live-viewing and playback user-interface, Siqura Diva offers built-in intelligence for facial and license plate recognition for security applications. In combination with Siqura’s IP cameras and codecs, Siqura Diva offers an ideal solution for a wide range of situations, including perimeter security, homeland security, theft/vandalism prevention, and intrusion detection.

Due to the reliable and secure nature of fibre optic networks, Siqura is now offering its IP PTZ dome cameras with a plug-and-play fibre optic connector option. This feature simplifies the setup, maintenance, and appearance of camera installations where a fibre network is utilised to overcome long-distance limitations. At the ISC West 2011 trade show in April, these pioneering new cameras won the New Product Showcase award for the best IP camera in video surveillance.

Through pressurised dome housing, this new Siqura camera line ensures airtight protection against excessive moisture, dirt, and pollution. This makes these surveillance cameras ideal for situations such as seaports and highway tunnels, where corrosive elements in the atmosphere can impede the performance of a surveillance system and cause unnecessary risks to safety and security. The Siqura pressurised PTZ dome cameras have an IP67 ingress protection rating and the housing is constructed of materials designed to withstand intense levels of solar heat (945VA UV protected). Pressurising the housing, particularly with inert nitrogen gas, prevents moisture, pollution, and dust from damaging the camera.
