Sightlogix unveils security design tool

Princeton, NJ (USA)

Sightsurvey lets the user plan the number of cameras and their optimal placement, and determine a camera’s automated range

The new, third generation Sightsurvey tool from Sightlogix allows engineers to easily model a Sightlogix smart camera system on a site and quickly compare the economic value against alternatives.

Sightsurvey uses Google Maps to help integrators, architects and engineers, site managers, and security directors design a layout on any facility. This allows the user to recognise important security coverage details, like detection ranges and blind spots.

Sightsurvey also lets the user plan the number of cameras and their optimal placement, and determine a camera’s automated range for detecting a person or a vehicle.

New features of Sightsurvey 3 include a modern, easy to use interface, a one click download of a comprehensive site design and it has also been incorporated with a feature making it easy to duplicate existing designs to make alternative layouts.

Sightlogix systems protect energy, transportation, chemical, utility, communications, and government facilities. Unlike video surveillance cameras that simply record video for review, Sightlogix Sightsensors automatically detect security breaches in real-time to alert responders with full situational awareness.
