Now in its 15th edition SICUREZZA keeps on being the only international exhibition in the security industry taking place in Italy. The exhibition will be dedicated to the professional operators of the anti-intrusion, fire prevention (detection), passive defence systems, home & building automation, intelligence and anti-terrorism, products and services for the Police Force and the Private Security Guarding.

The 2008 edition marked an important turning point, that has led to a development of the thematic frame work of the exhibition (with the debut of the new sectors of Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism, Local Police and Private Surveillance), the design of new projects, the involvement of new categories of visitors and, last but not least, a larger participation of Institutions, Police and Armed Forces, International Organizations.

For the first time the exhibition will have a prestigious and internationally renowned partner such as UNICRI (United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute). UNICRI will be one of the main actors of the exhibition, thanks to the organization of thematic seminars: "Major events security" (Thursday 18th November), "Urban Security" (Friday 19th November), "Energy Sector Security" (Saturday 20th November) featuring the involvement of Representatives from the Public and Private Institutions as speakers and testimonials, major events security managers and Representatives from the Public Authorities in charge of Urban Security.

Carrying on with the further involvement of the Armed and Police Forces, SICUREZZA 2010 will host the 1st Police International Forum. International Police Delegations will meet here to discuss the topic of False Documents and establish cooperation protocols. The Forum is promoted by ANVU, Italian Local Police Professional Association in collaboration with Comune di Milano-Local Police False Documents Lab and Rassegne SpA.

A series of thematic "one-to-one" meetings will be organized during the exhibition, with the purpose of reinforcing dialogue between the professionals working in the Public and Private sector and other end users, and the manufacturers.

Also in the next edition, a qualified conference and training activity will encompass and enrich the contents of the exhibition area. Special sessions for getting the most updated information and detailed analysis on the main sector news pertaining the certification requirements and the regulatory aspects will be promoted in cooperation with the main representatives drawn from the Associations, the Industry, the Institutions and the Academia.

In the framework of SICUREZZA 2010 the 3rd edition of the Security & Safety Award will take place: the competition represents a further and valuable instrument to acquire higher visibility and promote products and services on show.

The winners selection will be announced, as a rule, under the supervision of a Panel of experts, that will choose the best products and solutions in the two categories of the competition "Innovation" and "Friendly Product".

SICUREZZA is organized by Rassegne SpA, a Company totally owned by Gruppo Fiera Milano, with the support of the main sector associations: ANCISS, the Italian Association of Security and Building Automation which is federated to ANIE (the National Federation of Electrotechnical and Electronic Companies); ASSOSICUREZZA, the National Association of Security System Manufacturers and Distributors; ASSIV Italian Professional Surveillance Association.
