The Guardpoint Pro together with POE solutions from Sensor has been chosen to secure this brand new facility "Sports Hub" in Singapore, regarded as being a world class facility. Many of the advanced features of Guardpoint Pro will be engaged in this project. Yet again both IP and POE solutions have proven to be the way forward and are regarded as being best practice for designing new solutions and reducing deployment costs as well as ongoing maintenance and running costs.

The Singapore Sports Hub will be a fully integrated sports, entertainment and lifestyle hub for everyone in Singapore. It will be Singapore's premier land and water sports centre with integrated programming.

A unique cluster development of integrated world-class sports facilities within the city, it will play a critical role in accelerating the development of sports industry, excellence and participation and take sports to the next level in Singapore.

With its world-class facilities, the Sports Hub will be the Centre for Singapore's elite athletes and high performance management as well as an ideal location for sports and entertainment events, sports administration, and sports and recreation businesses.

It will help to create a critical mass of international, regional and local sports federations and associations, sports medicine and sports science service providers, sports related training and education service providers, sports companies' sales and marketing headquarters, and retail outlets.

The Hub is thought to be the largest sports facilities infrastructure Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) project in the world. It is also Singapore's largest and flagship PPP project entailing a 25-year design, build, finance and operating contract. The Singapore Government will be working with private sector partners to capitalise on its full potential.
