Looking back on the development of security industry over the past 10 years, several breaking through transactions took place that alerted the face of security in exciting ways. The first turning point was the change from analog to digital then gradually to IP and network systems. This is precisely why SecuTech has proclaimed its theme to all that "Software Drives Security 2.0" in 2007. Following the show's theme, "Software Drives Security 2.0", A&S, the organizer has mapped out several major events for visitors and exhibitors to find promising business prospects, such as GDSF 2007: The Revolution of Intelligent Video Surveillance, The Brain of DVR: Chipset Interchange 2007, and various theme pavilions including Security 2.0 Gallery, CCTV/Digital Surveillance Pavilion, Access Control/Biometrics Pavilion, Alarm Pavilion, Security Solution Pavilion, and also Korean and China Villages that will group leading companies form Korea and China and highlight competitive technologies from these two countries to offer greater opportunities to satisfy customers with specific needs.

Meanwhile, SecuTech Expo 2007 will hold a celebration on A&S International's 100th issue on April 16, 2007. To acknowledge the achievement of A&S Int'l 100th issue in April 2007, SecuTech came up with the notion of hosting a an array of special events, including a special tabloid size and supplement that includes a 10-year industry review, inviting all A&S supporters to join in on this monumental moment.

In order to encourage the innovation of security product development, build up the professional ability and reputation of quality security players, and establish an international platform by promoting rewarded products and technologies, SecuTech continues to launch SecuTech Award 2007. The event is open for all SecuTech exhibitors, awards will be given for product categories including CCTV, Digital Surveillance, Access Control, Intercom, Alarms, and Other on April 16th, 2007 as well.
