Secon expo presents future physical security trends

Some of the latest Asian and global trends in security products and systems will be on display at Secon Expo 2014, March 12th to 14th at the Ilsan Kintex centre.
Due to open its doors in a months time, Secon Expo 2014 is co-sponsored by security-related government offices, such as the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Security and Public Administration, the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the Gyeonggi Provincial Government and co-hosted by security-related organisations.  

This exhibition will showcase the latest in high-tech security products including CCTVs, DVR and network monitoring systems, physical security equipment, and IT security solutions, such as access control systems, monitoring and alarm systems, and biometric systems. Also on display will be state-of-the-art counter-terrorism and homeland security solutions including intelligent traffic systems.

It is forecasted that the show this year will play host to a total of 400 companies occupying 800 stands that will be viewed by around 40,000 visitors. In particular, with a large number of overseas buyers to visit, this event will function as a touchstone for peering into global security market trends at the beginning of the year.
