Warwick’s on campus accommodation has over 6,500 bedrooms available for the 2012/2013 academic year. The latest of phase of this is the new Sherbourne development, which is situated in pleasant green surroundings approximately 10 minutes walk from the central campus, and consists of six blocks offering 527 individual single bedrooms.

To handle Sherbourne’s student mail in a secure, controlled environment, the university is installing 60 Salto electronic mailboxes. These will protect against mail theft and identity fraud, provide increased security and access control to individual mailboxes with full traceable entry.

The mailboxes will be integrated with the existing Salto access control system which is already in place across campus, eliminating the need and expense of having to issue replacement keys to students as they will be able to operate and access their mailbox with their existing student ID card and room key.
