SAG unveils Uni Metal tag in Germany

Taipei, Taiwan

SAG, professional developers and manufacturers of high-quality RFID transponders, will be showcasing their Overmolded Uni Metal Tag with a unique built-in antenna at the Logimat show to be held from the 14th-16th March 2017 in Stuttgart, Germany next week.

The Logimat exhibition, an international trade fair for distribution, materials handling, and information flow, is one of the biggest annual intralogistics exhibitions in Europe and aims to set new standards in its field worldwide.

After 2015, SAG is returning this year with its latest innovation– the Overmolded Uni Metal Tag. "This is a cutting-edge development that will shock the industry" said Kenny Shin, Sales Director of SAG.

Why is this tag so shocking? Usually, a UHF metal tag is designed to be place on the front surface of a metallic item (such as the door of an electrical control box for example) so that it faces towards the reader for optimum reading performance. As this new Uni Metal Tag design incorporates an antenna it can be placed on the reverse side of the metallic item and yet still be read effectively for optimum performance . The Uni Metal Tag has been designed to enhance and improve the convenience of RFID tagging as well as to boost the efficiency in intralogistics. Housed within a PA9T industrial-grade plastic casing, this innovative tag is built to fit in with harsh environments and regular daily use.
