The “Secure Coding and Coding Standards” Tutorial is a navigational tool to essential curated content from top books and video courses in Safari’s extensive library. It gives learners the confidence to begin coding securely and provides them pointers to important resources to further advance their knowledge.

The Tutorial was hand-curated by Robert C. Seacord, noted security consultant and author of “The Cert C Coding Standard,” Second Edition (Addison-Wesley, 2014), “Secure Coding in C and C++,” Second Edition (Addison-Wesley, 2013), and co-author of “Java Coding Guidelines: 75 Recommendations for Reliable and Secure Programs” (Addison-Wesley, 2014), and “The Cert Oracle Secure Coding Standard for Java” (Addison-Wesley, 2012).
