SAE gets order from Chinese security initiative in Beijing

Beijing, China

The Chinese government launched a security initiative in Beijing, China in 2004, called "Safe City". SAE has been playing a key role in the development of the "Safe City", providing almost 3000 speed dome cameras, a product recommended by the China Public Security Ministry.

The Shenzhen is the special economy zone as well as the high tech centre of China. In the beginning of 2007, the Shenzhen government started their "Safe City"-initiative downtown, where the local government is located. They decided to go with 2939 units of SAE's DR-E588HP7 G3 high speed dome cameras and 21 units of SAE's DR-E688HP positioning system. The aim with this big investment is to cover the main streets of Shenzhen, as well other major public spots.
