ReachNet 2.5

Oakland, CA (USA)

Reach Systems, Inc. announces the release of ReachNet Version 2.5, will be available for commercial deployment on April 8, 2009. The Company will be showcasing ReachNet V2.5 during the upcoming ISC West Exhibition in Las Vegas. This new release delivers many powerful new features including two industry first innovations; fully integrated hosted video, and an interactive voice recognition (IVR) interface which allows users to unlock controlled doors through any phone.

The new hosted video application seamlessly integrates Axis network cameras into the Reach Access Control System. Customers are able to view a live video feed, capture and view video triggered by any access control event, capture and view video from camera motion events, and easily provision and manage their Axis cameras. Embedded links to video in standard ReachNet Reports and email Notifications allowing video clips to be delivered to your mobile phone.

vReach, the new ReachNet interactive voice recognition (IVR) interface allows for remote access through an IVR interface enabling users to unlock doors and perform other functions via any telephone. vReach functions as a backup for lost or forgotten credentials and "reader-less" access control locations where access is only permitted through the vReach interface. vReach also enables remote unlocking for unmanned locations allowing one-time access to a contractor or guest.

Version 2.5 also includes a bulk user data upload feature allowing card holder data for multiple users to be loaded into ReachNet saving time and simplifying the initial configuration process. This feature also makes it much easier to migrate from legacy systems to the Reach ACS platform.

In keeping with Reach Systems' philosophy of continuous product improvement, ReachNet version 2.5 includes many functionality upgrades and performance enhancements that allow for easier network setup and enhance usability.
