The new QVR 5.0 professional video management system is delivered preloaded with the intuitive, easy-to-use, and versatile QVR software allowing the user to perform real-time monitoring, recording, playback, alarm notifications, and other management activities to safeguard assets and property when used with supported IP cameras.

In addition, the Central Management of the QNAP NVR is accomplished via the QNAP Surveillance Central Management Lite (QSCM Lite). QSCM Lite is a pioneering, powerful and free app, which can be directly downloaded from QNAP NVR UI - App Center.  It is supported by firmware QVR 5.0 (and any versions above). With the installed QSCM Lite, the NVR can be converted into a CMS server to manage up to 16 QNAP NVRs, and 256 cameras.
