QNAP to showcase full line in Arabia

QNAP Security, a leading Linux-embedded NVR developer with award-winning storage and RAID technologies, is going to showcase its full range of IP surveillance storage solutions at Ifsec & OSH Arabia 2014 that takes place from the 2nd to 4th November 2014 at RICEC, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

At Ifsec & OSH Arabia 2014, QNAP Security will demonstrate surveillance solutions catering to enterprises, SMBs and SOHO users, including the standalone Viostor NVR systems that support full HD local display, central management system (CMS) turnkey solutions, Qdewarp technology, Mobile NVR, storage expansion solutions, mobile surveillance apps, and much more.

The powerful Viostor CMS is a turnkey solution for centralised monitoring & management with multiple Viostor NVRs distributed at different locations. Administrators can easily manage up to 1,024 channels for surveillance tasks of various sizes, and also use up to eight 4K displays to monitor all of their surveillance channels.  In addition, an economical way to enjoy the CMS application is using the free app "QNAP Surveillance Central Management Lite" (QSCM Lite) which empowers a single Viostor NVR with the abilities of a CMS server to centrally monitor, playback and manage up to 256 IP cameras from up to 16 Viostor NVRs. Administrators can enjoy ease-of-use, cost-efficiency, convenience and flexibility with the QSCM Lite.

Qstart simplifies system initialisation and network switch control for users to experience effortless NVR installation and remote maintenance. With a quick initial setup process, Qstart integrates the major functions of Zyxel PoE switches for users to easily setup camera IPs, manage PoE on/off and monitor traffic flow via the intuitive GUI.

QNAP Security introduces Qdewarp technology for easily dewarping fisheye images to rectilinear or straightened views. It effectively eliminates associated compatibility issues with IP cameras and surveillance systems, assisting administrators to view the monitoring area in a clearer shape.

Designed as a reliable in-vehicle surveillance system, the Mobile NVR features EN 50155 TX compliance with utmost vibration and shock protection, and withstands temperatures between -40°C and 60°C (-40°F to 140°F). Supporting Wi-Fi/3G/4G networks, GPS/G-sensor and dual-monitor VGA/HDMI local display (no extra PC needed for live video monitoring), the Mobile NVR is an ideal surveillance solution for a wide range of platforms including transportation and industrial settings.

Viostor NVR’s storage expansion options offer the perfect solution to growing storage demands for full HD video recording and long-term video retention. By installing the 'Storageexpansion' app (QPKG) on a Turbo NAS, administrators can connect their Viostor NVR with the Turbo NAS via network to flexibly enlarge the total storage capacity of the Viostor NVR whenever needed.

"QNAP provides a range of complete surveillance solutions that fulfill versatile requirements for a wide range of industries, businesses & home environments. Our solutions also accommodate different ranges of deployment, as well as meeting various application needs for both today’s needs and future growth,” said David Chiang, general manager of QNAP Security.

QNAP surveillance solutions are widely applied in various industries such as retail, home offices, banking, hotels, industrial, government and educational institutions.
