QNAP showcases new network solutions at ISC West

QNAP Security will showcase their newest 4-drive and 6-drive VioStor NVR models which incorporate the Intel AtomT D-510 dual-core processor to deliver exceptional performance of maximum network throughput of 176 Mbps with extremely low power consumption at ISC West 2010, according to the manufacturer.

QNAP's VioStor NVR is the Linux-embedded, standalone network surveillance solutions for IP-based real-time monitoring and video recording.

The VioStor NVR supports high quality H.264, MxPEG, MPEG4, and M-JPEG recording from popular network camera brands including AXIS, ACTi, Arecont Vision, AVTECH, A-MTK, Canon, Cisco, CNB, D-Link, DIGITUS, EDIMAX, ELMO, EtroVision, GANZ, Hikvision, iPUX, IQeye, LevelOne, Linksys, Messoa, MOBOTIX, Panasonic BB/ BL/ i-Pro, SANYO, SONY, TOA, TOSHIBA, TRENDnet, VIVOTEK, VIOSECURE and Y-CAM. It offers powerful surveillance features such as 120-channel monitoring from multiple QNAP NVR servers, Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA), generic IP camera integration by CGI command, digital watermarking, advanced event management, and SMS alert. The monitoring can be performed anywhere with Internet access and even on Windows PDA phones by QNAP's mobile surveillance application VSMobile.

The new VioStor NVR management software v3.2.0 which strengthens the event management by offering more event types such as motion detection, network disconnection, recording failure, user-defined events and handling actions (instant recording, automatic PTZ camera control, alarm input, email & SMS alert, buzzer, and user-defined action) will be introduced.

QNAP will also demonstrate the entire line-up of the 1 to 8-drive VioStor NVR models and the latest Intel AtomT D510 processor-based, VMware Ready business-class Turbo NAS (network-attached storage) models.
