When an unexpected disconnection disrupts the VS-2100L’s recording from monitored IP camera(s), the edge recording feature enables the VS-2100L to retrieve missing footage that has been temporarily stored on the cameras once the network connection is restored, ensuring that important video streams are all properly stored.

Other advanced features that the VS-2100L series provides include fisheye dewarping support, multi-server monitoring, and advanced event management. The fisheye dewarping function allows the administrators to view the monitored area in a clearer shape. Multi-server monitoring enables administrators to monitor up to 128 IP cameras by connecting multiple Viostor NVRs and monitor them with one browser on remote computers. Advanced event management helps administrators stay immediate alerted when critical events happen.

Managing the VS-2100L series is effortless on different platforms with the QNAP Surveillance Client for Windows and for Mac software, and the Vmobile mobile app for IOS, Android and Windows Mobile 6.1 to 6.5 devices. In addition to managing via the web-based administration interface on computers, remote monitoring of IP cameras is also accessible through the Vmobile app on Android and IOS devices and Windows Mobile phones.
