QNAP declares Security China 2010 a success for Viostor Pro launch

QNAP Security, a manufacturer of PC-less Network Video Recorder (NVR) solutions, have reported their participation as successful at the Security China 2010 exhibition this week in Beijing, China.
At the show on their stand QNAP introduced their latest 2, 4, 6-drive Viostor Pro Series NVR, a powerful IP video surveillance system featuring high-definition local display for PC-less system configuration, monitoring, and playback via a VGA connector.

Viostor Pro NVR Series supports up to 128-channel monitoring from multiple Viostor NVR servers, high quality H.264, MPEG4, M-JPEG, and MxPEG recording, maximum 12TB storage, and advanced event management tools, making it an ideal surveillance solution for all sorts of security-conscious environments. The Viostor Pro Series utilises a dual-core Intel Atom processor to deliver transfer rates of up to 176Mbps with ultra low power consumption. QNAP also demonstrated the entire lineup of the Viostor NVR models and the latest dual-core Intel Atom VMware Ready, Citrix Xenserver certified, and Microsoft Hyper-V compliant Turbo NAS (Network-Attached Storage) Series at the exhibition.
