Qihan receives funding for HDFDI technology development
Shenzhen, China
Qihan has recently signed a contract with the Shenzhen innovation science and technology commission for the further development of their HDFDI technology which will result in a funding of 1 million RMB (approx. $164,000) for their cutting-edge technology developments.
Qihan's 'HDFDI' is a new generation of high-speed interconnection technology that can be described as a kind of low delay, large bandwidth, high speed trasmission technology with strong anti-jamming capability, long transmission distance and reliability without transmission loss. It supports a variety of types of map, supports a threeway topology structure and five types of service, it will offer the advantage of establishing a whole organic network communication technology and channel control technology, and at the same time will improve on HD video, and will fuse video, audio, control and transmission technology.
Qihan has received the aid to enable the continuation of its efforts in expanding the technology and applications with more financial support from the government. This will definitively help Qihan to keep positive progress in transmitting HD over optical fibre transmission at a steady and smooth level. The HDFDI agreement moving towards the future for high-definition video process and management will be a crucial step. The continual research and development at Qihan will benefit the industry in the expansion of storage space of HD video and further for convergence of industrial resources for greater vision and higher contribution backed by the industry of China.
