Qihan lays foundations for new business in South Africa

Qihan presented a full range of intelligent video surveillance products during the company's debut participation at the Ifsec South Africa show in Johannesburg recently.
As the one of the largest, most professional and comprehensive safety technology exhibitions in the country, Ifsec South Africa focuses on the latest developments in security, fire and security technology. At the exhibition, Qihan showcased a full range of high-definition network cameras and NVRs, HD fibre-optic transmission cameras and SDI-DVRs, an ISS video management platform, dome cameras and many other products from their portfolio. According to the company, it is thanks to the high-definition image quality and stable performance demonstrated by their products that has resulted in many potential future cooperations from visitors.

During the show, Qihan launched an in-house developed high-definition HDFDI optical transmission technology solution. According to Qihan, it is a breakthrough design which achieves 20km ultra- long-range high-definition video surveillance transmission and solves the short distance transmission problems with current HD-SDI monitoring systems. With the latest fibre-optic transmission materials, high-definition and real-time HD-SDI technology, this solution is designed to be more efficient, stable, and easy to maintain. The response from the visitors at the show demonstrated to Qihan that their HDFDI optical transmission solution could be a new leading trend for video monitoring in the future and brings great convenience to system and capacity expansion.

Through this exhibition, Qihan has begun to build a bridge for the security industry between China and South Africa, and has also created a solid foundation for the company's future business development in South Africa.
