This PC NVR Server Software is designed to solve the problem of video data storage on the Windows operating system; it is able to achieve saved video data with a fixed cost of additional equipment to provide professional storage and management.

Qihan's PC NVR Server software, as an important part of the network monitoring system, supports multiple video strategies and is able to adopt flexible disk management methods. When the installed video disk space is full, the Server Software helps to automatically switch the system to seamlessly store the continual video input according to the order of a list of disks.

The software has an advanced background daemon design; when an abnormality is detected in the storage server, it will automatically restart the storage server, and restore the abnormal video state in 1 minute to complete recovery, which ensures the stability of the products. The Video Disk Management features are able to add and remove disks, switch disk storage for the remaining space configuration, etc.  The software can define centralised video, cover video, modify the video switch plans, etc. and supports AVI formats on the main video stream for up to 32CH 180Mbit.

When the network becomes jammed, the Qihan Storage Server Software will act as a centralised management system to maintain real-time video surveillance video data in an alternative storage server within a system. When there is no video recorder or the hard disks are full for local footage, the software will enable intensive continuous video storage at a Qihan storage server.

This Qihan Storage Server allows the user to add and search for equipment manually, as well as including three kinds of matching patterns when adding equipment in batches; there are also a variety of retrieval and playback modes, which drastically reduce the complexity of operation for customers, and achieve the best effect for ease of use. Qihan storage server software allows for setting the timing of video programmes every day, and can even be copied to other dates, real-time display the current state of the video of each channel,  and it can record up to 51200 items of log in information.
