Aiming for the cloud networking and growing industrial Ethernet applications, Planet launched a full range of high-end networking solutions in the themes of, Intelligent Green Power Networking, Industrial IP Surveillance, Complete High-end Industrial Ethernet, Carrier-based Fibre Networks and Mobile Wireless Networks at the Cebit show.

Following a theme of 'Intelligent Green Power Networking, the company believes it has "leapfrogged" the industry by integrating PoE with green energy solar power with Planet's latest Industrial Solar Power PoE switch designed to fulfill networking needs in remote areas. A series of PoE switches and PoE Hub with intelligent centralised power management functions was also presented to facilitate green network construction. In addition, to provide business and industrial networks with maximum expandability, the new series of ultra power 60 watts PoE injectors and splitters are designed with greater compatibility for high power network deployment, such as outdoor wireless AP, speed dome IP cameras or for POS systems.

Along with the latest 5 megapixel Enterprise IP cameras and NVR products, Planet also introduced an innovative scalable server to aid surveillance solutions for industrial purposes. The advanced monitoring solutions comprise of a Gigabit 802.3at PoE managed switch, and an industrial outdoor 802.3at PoE IP camera and network video recorder will also be launched to optimise real-time high quality surveillance. Moreover, Planet has developed a power over coaxial solution for efficient transformation to IP-based surveillance networks in difficult environments.

Planet has also launched a series of outdoor high power 300Mbps Wi-Fi AP and 3G wireless routers in view of the fast growing cloud computing service and mobile networking markets. These high-end innovations are designed to guarantee robust seamless wireless connectivity with enhanced security and thus strengthen businesses to thrive in a mobile dimension. During the Cebit show, Planet also showcased their spectrum of 2013 Taiwan Excellence award-winning products for IP networks, ranging from core to edge based products.
