Pixim's new China Headquarters will provide sales and support for Pixim's complete digital imaging system, consisting of a family of image sensors, image processors, camera reference design kits, and key software and algorithms that allow camera developers to easily design and build high quality, advanced-featured cameras.

Alfred Chou's appointment to head the Pixim Hong Kong office as Sales & Marketing Manager, Greater China, reflects Pixim's growing commitment to success in China and Taiwan. The latest data suggests that China and Taiwan are each producing about 1 million surveillance cameras per month. Simultaneously China has become the world's fastest-growing surveillance end market.

Mr. Chou brings to Pixim years of expertise in semiconductor sales, marketing and business management, previously with ESS Technology, Inc and Tektron Electronics (HK) Ltd & Tekcomp Electronics Ltd. Alfred graduated from the University of Lancaster U.K. school of management with degrees in management science and computer science.
