The system includes a controller, reader and cards. It's easy to specify, and install; it's simple to use and comes with free software. P2 offers a low power access control solution, environmentally friendly design with flexible reporting and a small, unobtrusive, controller with two reader interfaces. The reader is suitable for internal and external operation.

P2 offers 2 connectivity options, USB or TCP/IP (Ethernet), with greatly simplified wiring that reduces the number of both cores and cables. Set up wizards make getting the cards to work very easy and because P2 uses standard windows interface techniques it means that users can start to use the software with very little guidance. Other notable features include 4 wire reader connection, no site codes, clearly numbered cards/fobs and the use of a SQL server database with scheduled automatic backup and archiving. And on top of all those great features, P2 is able to incorporate doors in remote locations into the system and the reader mounts on a standard UK single gang back box.
