Nuuo VZIII helps improve business management

Since June this year, a well-known Australian restaurant has been utilising the Nuuo VZIII Retail Analytics Solution, and now the restaurant owner and manager not only understand the value of their enterprise but are also able to better manage the business at peak times whilst maintaining a pleasant dining atmosphere.

Nuuo VZIII Retail Analytics Solution configures to Nuuo's retail analytics cameras to obtain accurate people counting by comparing different areas of the restaurant. 

Through detailed research, the statistics (as shown in Fig-1) reveal the peak and off-peak time-frames in the open hours of the business. Fig-2 and Fig-3 are the Counter Dwell statistics. Fig-2 shows that in June most guests waited  for more than 2 minutes at the counter point from 2 - 6 pm every day; and then Fig-3 shows the statistics revealed after improvements were made one month after the VZIII system had been applied.  

The Counting Zone, one of the main functions of the VZIII, can effectively verify which areas are more popular by comparing captured scene areas.  With the VZIII, the shop manager has discovered that most guests prefer to sit on sofas. On Fig-4, they have clearly seen there are 3 times more guests on sofas than outdoors on a daily basis. 

In line with the findings, Nuuo suggested that the store manager assigns one clerk for every 20 customers; therefore, there should be 12 employees for between the hours of 4pm-6pm every day.  With these data on peak hours and waiting times, the VZIII is enabling the store manager to improve the operations of the restaurant.

The Nuuo VZIII solution allows people to understand the data and has been proven by real life cases to effectively improve in-shop management and the shopping experience.
