New universal CCTV power supplies from Superior at Secutech

Taipei, Taiwan

Superior Electronics Corporation will showcase their full line of products alongside their new generation of CCTV power supply on their stand at Secutech Taipei later this month.
The new series marks the arrival of switched mode technology in CCTV power supplies, allowing reduced cost and weight with higher efficiency and universal power input. All models of the new power supply series will accept 110/240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, eliminating the need to distribute different models to different regions.

Models will be offered in 4-, 9- and 18-channel versions, with 4 and 9 outputs in option, featuring 5A total output. The 18-channel models will come in either 6A or 12A variants. All models will supply current up to 2.5A per channel. Channel output is 12VDC, adjustable up to 13.5VDC to compensate for voltage drop as the application demands.

The efficient design of the power supply results in less heat generation, which will help to extend the product life far beyond that of previous versions. The new outline design will also greatly reduce its shipped weight and costs. In additon, it makes the units much easier to install. In common with other Enforcer power supplies, the heavy duty steel enclosure, individual channel status LEDs and short-circuit / overheat protection are standard features of the new generation series.

This new series of CCTV power supply will be applied and implimented on their board type of network DVRs (DR-1 series), and voltage boosters (ST-HB105-TTQ) that will demonstrated on their stand at Secutech 2011 in Taipei Taiwan next week.
