New technical manager at C-Tec

Wigan, Lancashire (UK)

C-Tec has appointed Andy Turner as an additional Northern Technical Account Manager to strengthen its UK sales team.
Andy Turner, formerly of Apollo Fire Detectors and Cooper Lighting, has been recruited to share responsibility for C-Tec’s key specialist accounts in the North and will work alongside existing Technical Account Manager, Brian Foster.

The partition of territories was deemed vital due to C-Tec’s rapidly expanding customer base, the sheer amount of life-safety equipment it manufactures and the launch of some sophisticated new product ranges, specifically the new ZFP range of 2-8 loop touch-screen controlled analogue addressable fire panels.

With over 15 years’ experience in the fire industry and a wealth of qualifications under his belt, Andy is well placed to take on the challenging role which also includes responsibility for all new enquiries relating to C -Tec’s extensive range of fire alarm control panels, call systems, voice alarm systems and disability equipment ranges.

Said Andy: “C-Tec is going from strength to strength and this is a fantastic opportunity for me. I am looking forward to meeting my new customers and hope to make a significant contribution to the company’s future successes.”

Said Charlotte Manley, C-Tec’s Sales Director: “Andy is perfectly qualified for this very important position. He has an excellent reputation in the industry, a strong technical sales background and a great personality. I am confident he will be a success in the role and am absolutely delighted to welcome him to the team”.

Andy, who lives in Crewe with his young family, is currently studying for a European Fire Diploma with the Fire Protection Association.
