All cameras feature motion detection, privacy masking, true wide-dynamic-range, backlight compensation and automatic white balance. Bullet and dome models include a 2.8-12 mm varifocal lens. On-screen menus make it easy to adjust settings and control all camera features. A range of accessories, sold separately, provide mounting flexibility.
For cost-effective integration with IP video management software, including Vicon’s Valerus, these HD analogue cameras can be used in conjunction with Vicon’s recently introduced 16-channel H.264 ONVIF video encoder. The encoder converts the video output from these cameras into a digital stream for transmission over an IP network.
“Vicon’s commitment to delivering end-to-end security solutions means providing a range of camera options that best fit the varied needs and budgets of our customers. For those wishing to make use of an existing coaxial infrastructure, our HD analogue cameras can provide a cost-effective approach to accessing IP video technology and its benefits,” said Bret McGowan, Vicon’s Senior V.P, Sales and Marketing.
