New graphical interface launched from Vista

Reading, UK

Vista has announced the release of a Triplex2 compatible version of their popular Graphica software.

Graphica is a simple-to-use graphical user interface that acts as a virtual matrix. This allows multiple camera feeds from Triplex2 units on a network to be streamed onto the same graphical maps on a single or multiple PC network. JPEG or Gif images can be imported to represent layout of sites, building or floor plans making it fully customable to specific projects.
Set-up and installation have been made simple with full, intuitive wizards coupled with a simple drag and drop camera and DVR location icon. In order to facilitate a complete CCTV and Access Control solutuion, Graphica comes enabled to integrate with the Impro Technologies Access Control System.
Triplex2 offers all of the existing and well proven Triplex features, but with greatly improved image quality, storage and network bandwidth utilisation. The new DVR is also available with high capacity DVD-R archiving options.
The built-in DVD or CDR archive options allow for the rapid transfer of up to 4.7GB of video at the touch of a button without the need to install any additional playback software on the review PC. New JPEG2000 (Wavelet) compression efficiency doubles the storage of medium resolution images, enabling a much higher quality per megabyte image. Additionally, superior image quality is achieved with an increase to nine independent, user selectable image quality settings.
"Graphica is very popular with installers and users alike, so we're very pleased to announce the release of this new version," says Mark Pritchard, divisional director for Vista. "By combining the capabilities of the new Triplex2 with Graphica, we feel we can offer one of the most powerful yet simple to use graphical interfaces on the market."
