TeleEye RX338 and RX3316 are high performance 8- and 16-channel video recording transmitters which support up to two internal hard drives for standalone and remote operations. Being inherited from the success of their counterpart TeleEye RX360 Series, those two new models combine fast video transmission, high-resolution recording and flexible connections in one single box.
With TeleEye's proprietary compression technology, namely Multi-rate Scalable Motion Adaptive Video Coder (SMAC-M), TeleEye RX338 and RX3316 successfully deliver both simultaneous efficient video transmission and excellent DVD quality recording performance. SMAC-M provides 5 independent video streams to give optimal performance in recording and surveillance in various communication channels. With SMAC-M, video can be compressed more efficiently and therefore those two new models can record 60% longer than DVR's using the MPEG-4 format with the same hard disk capacity.
Real time recording up to 200/240fps on all video channels can be achieved at CIF resolution. With two internal hard drives design, TeleEye RX338 and TeleEye RX3316 can support up to 1500GB storage. Those two new models also fully comply with the recognized British Code of Practice BS 8418:2003 standard and provide central monitoring station with professional remote monitoring and visual alarm verification solution. Moreover, users can use mobile phone to connect with the transmitters for viewing live video via 3G or GPRS connection.
