With the Access Control and Intrusion Detection with PLC functionality already available, the security controller now features full IP Video Management functionality. The manufacturer suggests that AEOS IP Video Management goes technically well beyond existing DVR and even open platform based solutions. Live and stored video images can be viewed by means of AEOS faces, part of the AEOS front end suite, while offering complete freedom of camera choice and storage media based upon industry standards. Moreover, images can be stored on an AEpu (controller) attached hard drive which significantly reduces bandwidth and network load issues.
