According to the company, the partner ecosystem is essential to the Milestone business strategy, and a strong partner presence in the Milestone trade show booth is often a natural illustration of this. This year was no exception, as partners highlighted solutions focused on the vertical sectors of transportation, city surveillance, retail and critical infrastructure. A wide array of innovative partner solutions were demonstrated, from advanced storage solutions to video analytics on the edge.

Amongst the partners sharing the Milestone stand were Digital Barriers with their ultra-low bandwidth, real-time video for resilient streaming over all types of networks including cellular networks and their proof-of-concept demo.  Agent Vi prensented their advanced video analytics, already proven in numerous installations worldwide and it can be used in real time and on archived video; Ipsotek Ltd demonstrated advanced video analytics including behaviour detection, cognitive intelligence and alarm integration; CNL Software showed integrated PSIM solutions with aggregated data intelligence gathering, audio and video; The Isonas certified Milestone Xprotect Access Control Module integration showcased a pure IP solution for command and control from the front-end via the Xprotect Smart Client interface, with the Isonas Crystal Matrix software on the back end; A separate section demonstrated a certified Bosch Access Control integration with the Xprotect Access Control Module, which also fully supports Bosch intelligent video analytics; EMC Corporation presented advanced, resilient and highly scalable storage solutions that are dedicated to handling comprehensive video data needs and finally, Netgenium Systems Ltd showed an IP speaker and PoE Audio integration, which enables more efficient and interactive security installations.

Milestone themselves were displaying the Xprotect LPR 2015. As a fully integrated add-on component to the Xprotect Smart Client, Xprotect LPR now provides customisable match list fields and an extended reporting capability.

This not only empowers operators to take the right decisions when granting vehicles access, it also enables easy documentation of recognised vehicles with full details, video thumbnails and license plate close-ups. With its new configuration wizard and extensive localized documentation, Xprotect LPR 2015 is easier than ever to set up and configure, while high recognition accuracy is ensured with a new snapshot-driven tuning process.
