Middle East prepares for National Security Summit

The National Security Summit Middle East is set to take place from 31st March to 2nd April 2015 at the Beach Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Attendees will be able to ggain insight from senior representatives from the Dubai Police, Abu Dhabi Police, RAK Police, Dubai Customs, Public Security Directorate (Jordan), Sharjah Police and more on the latest developments and next generation technologies being purchased by these organisations to improve national security in the region.

There will be the opportunity to meet and network with over 22 speakers from regional and international authorities including the following high ranking and esteemed individuals, His Excellency Lieutenant General Tawfiq Tawalbeh, Director General, Public Security Department (PSD), Jordan, His Highness Major General Sheikh Taleb Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Director General, Ras Al Khaimah Police Directorate, His Excellency Major General Humaid Mohammad Al Hudaidi, Chief of Police, Sharjah Police, His Excellency Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Executive Director, Dubai Customs, Lt. Col Khalid Nasser Abdulrazaq Al Razooqi, General Director of Smart Services, Dubai Police.

Those attending the summit will also be able to gain insight into major investments being made by the public sector to increase cyber security and physical security in the Middle East.  There will also be opportunities to understand how inter-agency collaboration increases national security by allowing organisations to have more information about potential threats, to learn about counter-terrorism strategies and how to tackle and contain extremist groups in complex regions and to discover which technologies global experts think can help to disrupt crime and terror networks.

According to the organisers this will be a unique opportunity to be a part of a meeting designed to address the region's urgent challenges relating to national security.  Plus for the first time in the Middle East, IQPC is organising an award ceremony for "Outstanding Achievement and Contribution” to recognise outstanding professionals towards providing national security.
