Messoa launches plug-and-play 4CH/8CH Lite NVR

Taipei, Taiwan

Messoa Technologies is launching the Lite NVR solution, the latest offering that targets installers/users wishing to migrate from analogue to IP surveillance but yet are still unfamiliar with the technology.
Though IP technology has been around for quite some time, its prevalence in the surveillance industry is just starting to mature. According to Messoa, many channel players/end users want to try this new technology but feel reluctant to move forward due to the complicated network settings and higher costs. "Recognising such a demand, we came up with this easy-to-use, cost-effective solution for customers with no prior knowledge in IP and limited budget", said Ervin Wang, Sales Director of Messoa.

Featuring a standalone network video recorder available in 4 and 8 channels, along with a series of NVR-ready Messoa megapixel cameras, the Lite NVR Solution requires no extra computer or software to operate. Simply connect all the Messoa cameras and devices, power on the system, and the system is automatically configured and ready to go without any extra effort needed. Like a DVR, the system supports local display through VGA or HDMI and intuitive on-screen control right at users’ fingertips. This embedded-Linux system supports plug-and-play with auto configuration setup in less than a minute, and provides a comprehensive, reliable solution which is ideal for small-scale projects such as residences, small businesses, and offices. In addition to its hassle-free setup, the Lite NVR Solution delivers live view and playback in 1080p resolution at full frame rates, allowing greater detail and smoother video display for enhanced viewing experience compared to conventional DVRs. The system also takes advantages of H.264 compression, enabling optimization for bandwidth and storage efficiency by maximizing compression while maintaining superior image quality.

The Messoa Lite NVR Solution can also be conveniently accessed from smart mobile devices, web browsers, or offsite locations via the free bundled 128-channel CMS for managing multiple sites. Other features, including pentaplex multitasking, dual network interfaces, and USB backups, makes it a versatile, yet affordable entry-level solution for small-scale, cost-oriented projects.
