Latest ultra compact full HD Canon cameras at Ifsec

Canon Europe, a world-leader in imaging solutions, will be showcasing its range of network security cameras, including its latest range of full HD, ultra compact VB-S series cameras, at Ifsec International at London's Excel starting tomorrow.

The recently launched VB-S series of ultra-compact full HD network cameras with built-in analytics joins Canon’s existing M-series megapixel and H-series full HD models. The new cameras are designed for indoor environments which require sensitive monitoring of specific areas or items. They are ideal for surveillance in retail, education and business environments.

Solutions partners Netavis, Nedap and Wavestore will be present on the Canon stand, demonstrating the strength of their integrated solutions. Nedap representatives will be available to explain its enhanced security management solution and the Netavis team will be showcasing its retail business intelligence solution; both utilising Canon’s latest network security cameras. Wavestore will be demonstrating the accuracy of Canon’s market-leading cameras when connected to its facial recognition system, alerting the user when pre-determined faces are detected.

Representatives from Canon customer the British Library will also be at the show to discuss how the library is working with Canon network security cameras to protect its priceless collection of books and manuscripts with a , full HD resolution solution.
