Lantech to unveil new industrial managed PoE series at Ifsec

Taipei, Taiwan

Lantech Communications Global Inc., a brand that provides a complete family of hardened and in/outdoor networking products, is introducing two new industrial switches, IES-3307C and IPES-3208C and will showcase both models alongside the company's full line at Ifsec International next week.

Both models of the IES-3307C and IPES-3208C industrial switches provide combo ports for higher flexibility of network planning.

The IES-3307C industrial managed switch offers seven 10/100TX, two 10/100/1000T/dual speed SFP combo, and one 10/100TX/dual speed SFP combo ports.  It supports ring/double ring/chain topologies with <20ms ITU G.8032 ring protection.  The switch also supports advanced SNMP (including QoS, IGMP v3 & query, SSH/SSL, DDM, and loop) protection.  As well, it supports a USB dongle for auto backup and restore. For environmental monitoring, the switch will display voltage, current, and temperature of the ambient conditions.

The IPES-3208C managed industrial switch is equipped with ports of eight 10/100TX, two 10/100/1000T/dual speed SFP combo with 8-PoE-injector 802.3at/af (up to 30W per port). The IPES-3208C switch features PoE management that includes detection and scheduling.  This switch, the same as the IES-3307C, supports ITU ring protection (<20ms), advanced SNMP protection, and a USB dongle for auto restore and backup.

According to the company, these powerful features make the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of these industrial switches a much easier task than various others on the market today.
