Kuwait Americana food factory secured by Brickcom

Taipei, Taiwan and Kuwait

As far as Americana Group Kuwait security staff is concerned, the need for a video security system with the ability to protect the employees and respond to the events that impact the operation is paramount. After an in-depth survey and evaluation process, a total of 99 Brickcom cameras were deployed to monitor the food factory the whole time, including the FD-301Af, OB-300Af, and VD-202Np.
Since its inception in Kuwait in 1964, Americana Group, whose main lines of business are operating food and beverage outlets as well as manufacturing food products, has grown into one of the largest and most successful corporations in the Middle East and North Africa region. Publicly traded on the Kuwait Stock Exchange (FOOD.KW), Americana Group is managed to world-class corporate standards, with activities spanning 13 countries and a payroll of over 55,000 employees from 21 nationalities.

The major areas in the factory are taken care of with the Brickcom OB-300Af outdoor bullet camera, which is IP66 weather-proof and able to stand the high temperature and humidity experienced in the production lines. The office areas are monitored by the Brickcom FD-301Af fixed dome camera. These cameras are capable of delivering 3-megapixel video to provide the security staff with more image details than full HD video.

The Brickcom VD-202Np vandal dome camera, being IK10 vandal-proof and IP67 weather-proof, is able to stand the stringent tests of the environment plus any intended physical vandalism, and therefore is deployed in the outdoor open areas of the factory. Equipped with the Sony Exmor CMOS sensor, the VD-202Np is designed to deliver full-HD 1080p @ 30fps video in superior image quality both during the day and at night. With Brickcom's WDR enhancement technology, the VD-202Np, according to the company is more than capable of handling complex scenes with glare, high contrast, strong backlight, light reflection, etc. For this reason, the VD-202Np cameras are also installed in the driveways to capture the license plate of vehicles coming in and out.
