Ksenia expands Auxi peripherals line

Ripatransone, Italy

Ksenia's new Auxi-H module to be used with Lares 4.0 IoT platform

Ksenia Security peripherals family Auxi is expanding with a new device called Auxi-H - a module that can be used with Lares 4.0, the new IoT platform from Ksenia Security, for security and home and building automation applications.

In the Auxi-HT mode it allows for the management of motorised roller shutters (thus providing a new kind of system output), with the possibility of timed complete opening and closing. It is also possible to know remotely the status of the rolling shutter, with indication of complete opening, complete closing or partial opening. Finally, the roller shutter can be controlled via the local buttons, and can monitor the access to doors/windows with the two generic alarm inputs and a specific input for shutter-type detectors.

Thanks to future developments, firmware updates of the device itself will be released, which will also allow the management of 4 further intermediate positions.

Finally, simply by changing the setting of a jumper on the board, lighting management will also be possible. In this way the device will be recognised by the control panel as Auxi-HL, so the two 8 A / 230 V on-board relays can be managed as independent outputs.

In both modalities (Auxi-HT and Auxi-HL) the functioning of the outputs is guaranteed through the use of the buttons connected to the local inputs even in case of failure of the control panel. Distributing the intelligence of the system it is possible to guarantee the system operation even in case of severe failure.
