Kemas invites visitors to think outside of the box

Oberlungwitz, Germany

In order to celebrate the company's 25th anniversary, Kemas will be encouraging visitors to Security Essen this year to think outside of the box. This tag line coupled with "Let’s create your solution!” will also be a mission statement at this year’s show. Visitors are invited to take a look beyond classical key management and to check out other solutions that Kemas has to offer.

Since 1991 the company has continued to steadily develop and grow its security division. Kemas has become an established name and brand within the security market. Customers come from sectors such as industry, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, critical infrastructure, the banking sector, prisons or supply and disposal.

At the Security show 2016 visitors will be able to explore how RFID-based self-service terminals can make a valuable contribution to corporate security and facility management as well as how they improve organisational processes. Thus, self-service terminals serve as an electronic reception, which acts as a main access point for various user groups.

Many different applications can be covered by a self-service terminal. Besides the temporary issue and return of keys, radios, laptops and employee badges, visitor badges can also be retrieved after appointments have been registered online. Moreover, vehicles can be booked, scheduled and transferred and special tools can be shared in joint use.

Ergonomics and user dialogue have been improved continuously. Flexible access and permissions management, clients, depot and time plans as well as event-driven messages even do justice for higher security requirements. The use of RFID technology for user and asset identification results in a meaningful electronic logbook which informs about who used what and when.

The integration of Kemas into higher- or same-level management systems is a significant aspect to offer an integrated and individual solution.
