JF Tech's XVI migrates coaxial solutions to the next level

Hangzhou, China

JF Tech, also known as Hangzhou Jufeng Technology and founded in 2008, is launching the XVI Solution that includes AXVI  the in-house-developed coaxial transmission protocol embedded for seamless system integration with surveillance devices with AHD and TVI protocols. The brand-new XVI solution will be presented and demonstrated at CPSE 2017 in Shenzhen China at the end of this month, and Sicurezza 2017 in Milan, Italy in November.

The XVI is newly developed by JF Tech and is also known as AXVI, a coaxial transmission protocol that is designed to be fully compatible with AHD and TVI protocols and it is feature rich and with the unique functions of coaxial control, coaxial Update, and image enhancement.

The coaxial control performs transmission of video and data commands over one coaxial cable. With this feature, the XVI makes it possible for the back-end to be able to “directly control” the front-end. This allows the DVR to control an XVI camera directly with no extra control line or decoder required. This can simplify the system construction and saves on costs; in addition, it is convenient to debug the project in the earlier stages which may result in peace of mind during project maintenance after installation.

The coaxial update feature means the XVI solution supports firmware upgrades through the coaxial cable. This function helps to ease the system firmware updating and customisation without tear-down of the system and rework to save time and labour costs on the project.

The feature of image enhancement allows for images to be captured in rich colour, with more details, and with noise control minimized. The XM-designed image enhancement and noise reduction technology means that the XVI cameras (XM310, XM320, XM330) perform well when working with the XM DVR. Compared with ordinary coaxial HD solutions, the XVI system has been designed with the aim of  bringing out much more detail and true colour reproduction on screens and displays.

With these features, the XVI elevates a coaxial solution to one level higher and in many ways with more advantages than current IP systems, including system cost reduction, pleasant user experience, easier system construction and low maintenance requirements.
