IR solution for ANPR/LPR applications

Taichung, Taiwan

Komoto, a specialist IR strobe research and development company, has released its latest model, the AV-320 for the ANPR/LPR market; the product made its debut at Security Essen recently in Germany.
The IR strobes from Komoto systems are known for their “Self-cooling System”. These IR strobe solutions have no built-in fans but are designed to intergrate naturally with the ambient outdoor temperature. This energy saving design means that the LEDs generate less heat, which in turn results in a brighter output and an extended product lifetime.

The latest model, AV-320, IR strobe system supplies power at ADC 24V. It is simple to plug the quick connector cable in (carrying power & video signals) to work with a locally connected DVR or to a computer. The waterproof design incorporates a suitable housing and bracket for most outdoor installation scenarios.

With the Komoto proprietary technique, the AV-320 captures crystal clear images from car license plates, even at high speed (up to 220Km/ph) and under various lighting conditions, such as under strong light, towards the light, back lighting and in dark night time conditons on the road.

As Komoto is an established player with years of experience in the ANPR/LPR industry, all of their products are designed specifically for the number plate capture sector.
