IP hybrid DVR launch from Lilin

Birmingham, UK

Lilin have launched their new hybrid Digital Video Recorder, NDR series, during the recent IFSEC 2010 exhibition. At the show, the hybrid DVR appeared to be extremely popular with the visitors on the Lilin stand.

According to Lilin this new hybrid solution has been researched with great care and attention to the design and functionality which also adds IP recording to their rapidly expanding DVR range. A combination of high performance DVR and IP NVR in a family-appliance based product, the NDR series is an entirely new solution that provides a building block approach to system design and expansion.

Installers and users of other products from the company's range of DVR's will find many familiar functions as per the menu structure in their previous products; the NDR's can be controlled by the front panel buttons, IR remote control and the PIH-931D Keyboard. Other functions such as live video and playback can be accessible over internet via I.E. (Internet Explorer) or the Lilin NVR software that comes with the product.

The NDR Series is very simple to use and benefits from a number of intuitive, unique features. The system architecture allows the user to manage the NDRs from anywhere over the internet. Any of the NDRs in the system can display, record and control any IP cameras at local or from remote sites; plus they can even playback recordings from another NDR in the loop.

Its H.264 compression enables realtime recording and display at D1 resolutions, with SVGA, composite and HDMI outputs. Endless expansion and ONVIF compliance ensures the NDR Series remains future proof and provides interoperability for the ultimate in system flexibility.
