Intersec 2013 garners great support

Dubai, U.A.E

The Safety and Health section for Intersec Dubai is now 90% sold out five months ahead of the show dates.
Key industry players such as Allsafe, Ansell, Arasca Medical, Cofra, Draeger, Honeywell, JAL, Karam and Scott Health and Safety and many others have signed up for the 15th edition of the show.

The organisers, Epoc Messe Frankfurt GmbH, believe that this is due to the fact that there is a growing trend among government organisations and the corporate world to allocate special budgets for safety products. Safety products are no longer limited to hazardous work environments but are now necessary for all offices located in sky scrapers and on busy metropolitans.

In addition there is great support for the show from India. The Asian Professional Security Association (APSA) and Fire Protection Association of India (FPI) are both to officially support Intersec 2013.

APSA is an international organisation for information security professionals. It provides educational forums, publications and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge and professional growth of its members.

APSA will host a pavilion and bring Indian based security companies to Intersec.

The Fire Protection Association of India was formed in order to deal with various issues relating to the Fire Protection Industry in India with the concerned authorities and market influencers.

Mr. Nitin Shah, President - FPI, states: “Fire Protection Association of India is proud to be associated and confirms its wholehearted support to Intersec Dubai 2013”.

Still on the fire protection theme, the 4th UAE International Firefighter Championships once again will take place during Intersec at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

"I am very overwhelmed that we are again partnering with Intersec to demonstrate their skills of different teams from all over the world. I also encourage the public to witness this thrilling, entertaining and adventure-packed show” says Mohammad Al Ahmadi, Managing Director of 911.
