Intellio appoints new CEO

Budapest, Hungary

Intellio, developer of a new generation of network camera systems based on cameras with on-board intelligence, recently appointed Mr. Janos Kophazi as the new CEO of Intellio.

Prior to joining Intellio, Kophazi managed the Hungarian operations of Anixter, the US-based global network solutions distributor. Prior to Anixter, Kophazi had a dynamic six-year career in the commercial field with Intel where he managed Intel's regional sales effort in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Yugoslavia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria and Romania.

Kophazi holds multiple degrees in engineering from the Technical University of Budapest and the Banki Donat College of Technology. Intellio founder and former CEO of Intellio Adorjan Princz will focus on further developing Intellio's competitive edge in intelligent video surveillance technologies.
