The presentation will give insights in the world of management of master key locking systems. It describes the history and security mechanisms of traditional mechanical master key locking solutions as well as the challenges and limits they are facing nowadays. As solution for solving the increased demand for higher security and flexibility in managing master key locking systems several electromechanical product options have been introduced in recent years. The presentation will describe different approaches of nowadays available electromechanical solutions pointing out their general benefits and weaknesses. The participants will receive a compact overview about modern possibilities for efficient control of master-key locking as well as access management environments.

The presentation will take place on Tuesday 19th January 2010 from 13:15 to 14:00 in the Commercial Security Forum in Hall 2. In their stand, iLOQ is also introducing new features and product options of the awarded iLoq S10 locking system based on the self-powered iLoq C10 cylinder and the battery-less electronic iLoq K10 key.
